I am a fifth year teacher in the Cajon Valley Union School District in El Cajon, California.  In college, I earned my BA in Psychology at San Diego State University and taught as a substitute teacher for two years before returning to get my teaching credential.  I started as a support teacher in 2010 teaching 3-5th grade and have taught 5th grade for the last four years.  Since I started working with children at an after-school program at a local elementary school in college, I knew teaching was the perfect career choice for me.   Giving a child an education is one of the most valuable gifts they can possibly receive.  It will allow them to reach their full potential and experience success in the real world.
